It does not contain cholesterol, and is also free from lactose, dairy, sugar, salt, wheat, gluten, yeast, artificial flavours, colours or preservative – GM free. Organic pumpkin seed oil is perfect for sweet and savoury dishes, but it’s not recommended for frying or grilling. Exposure to high temperatures can destroy the essential fatty acids. Also, high smoke points affect the rich flavour and tone of the oil.

Styrian pumpkins, grown especially for their seeds, get harvested in in Austria, between September and October. This is when the fruit is most ripe for pressing. Once washed, dried and shelled, it takes 2.5-3kg of raw pumpkin seeds to produce a single litre of EBO’s highest quality unrefined pumpkin seed oil. Dark Green colour in appearance.
